The Automobile Association of Tanzania (AAT) has launched a campaign called wearing a helmet for all people who use bicycle travels from one platform to another.
Speaking at the launch of a wear helmet today in Dar es Salaam, AAT Vice President (Admistration) Gautam Chavda, said that a wear-off wear while driving a bicycle will help greatly reduce the accident.
He said it was good that everyone runs a bicycle and puts a hat hat in order to avoid an emerging challenge when an accident strikes.
Chavda said AAT is very grateful to National road safety council of Tanzania, Disctrict education officers for support being given and such support will benefit the future generation to understand importance of wearing helmet to reduce fatality.
The AAT Project Director, Yusuf A. Ghor, said that before launching a helmet-to-wear campaign they did research in various primary schools and identified the largest number of users who were using helmet drives while driving a bicycle.
Ghor has said that 75% do not know about the issue of wear a tight hat while running bicycles in various places.
He noted that among the successful questions asked in six schools include are you not aware of the importance of wearing safety helmets ? but the 25% said no and 75% said yes, The parents are not worried? 60% said yes, Do you lack money to buy? 38% said yes.
He said that in order to compensate for a hard-term wear campaign should have a law that will help people use those caps to be in safe surroundings when one uses bicycle transport from one place to another.
"It is important to set rules so that people who use bicycle transport can use helmet for their safety" said Ghor.
He argued that as a man wearing a helmet would be in good condition for a great percentage.
He said in life one important person is the one who cares about making it a safe place all the time when you are in the environment not a friend.
Trafific QH Dar es Salaam Abel Swai , said the time has come for rider bikes to wear hardship because it is a large group that uses such a travel.
He said that bicycle transport is a large group so they should use these caps to protect themselves from an accident that may occur while using the transport.
ASP Swai explained that over a three-year period, 110 passengers who have used bicycle transport have died, while 908 are injured.
"The people died from being in good condition while using bicycle transportation including wearing a helmet", ASP Swai said.
He said that the time had come and prevented accidents and assumptions by using difficulty when someone used bicycle transport.
Ilala Municipality's Education and Training Officer Rukia Gwando, thanked AAT for introducing campaign because it would help many people, including children who prefer to ride bicycle.
He said the safety of a person is important to all people, so each one should show cooperation in a fast-paced campaign for bicycle drivers.
